last minute special dals When to Sail? The tropical climate in The Whitsunday region allows us to sail all year around. Depending on what you are looking for you may decide to choose a cooler time of the year but we do have hot summers, warm winters and bright spring and autumn days. The average daily temperature ranges from around 22 – 23 degrees Celsius in the winter months of June, July and August and has an average of 30 degrees Celsius in summer months.Water temperatures remain a welcoming 25 degrees Celsius most of the year round.

Sailing Options The Whitsunday region can offer a lot of sailing options.

Individuals – Join our daily or overnight sailing trips.

Groups – Choose between bare boat charters where you have to skipper the yacht yourself or look for Skippered charters options. Skippered charters- crew to run daily routine, skipper to take care of the yacht. No experience or certificate needed.

For How long? The Whitsundays Islands are just 5 nautical miles from the mainland and stretch 25 Nm north to south. In 3 days we can visit most of the interesting spots, including Whitehavan Beach, Nara Inlet and Blue Pearl Bay. In 5 days we can explore much more exotic and less touristy places. our Private Charters give you opportunity to choose how many days you wish to sail for, from 1 to …, but we recommend no less than 3 days.

Whales June- September every year Whales visit the Whitsundays, on their annual migration north. Race Week Hamilton Island race week is one out of two of the most famous sailing events in Australia. Over 300 yachts race in The Whitsundays during this event. Every year in August.
